Who we are

About Dutch Wanderer

Dutch Wanderer is a young, independent tour company built by people who love the Netherlands — from Amsterdam's canal rings to the quiet flower fields of the countryside. We're just getting started, and that's exactly why every tour gets our full attention: small groups, honest prices and the places we'd show our own friends.

Every guide is Dutch or has lived here for years. They know which courtyard has no tourists, which bakery still bakes stroopwafels the old way, and which canal is best at golden hour. You won't get a script — you'll get a local having a genuinely good day showing you their country.

Every tour is small-group, English and Dutch-speaking, and built around real stories rather than a rushed checklist of sights. We keep groups small on purpose: enough people to feel like an outing, few enough that your guide actually knows your name.

Small groups only

Most tours cap at 10-16 people, so you actually get to ask questions.

Local, licensed guides

Every guide lives here and is trained on the history, not just the highlights.

Sustainable by design

Boats, bikes and trains over buses wherever the route allows it.

Free cancellation

Plans change — cancel up to 24 hours before your tour, no questions asked.

Meet your guides

Locals who love showing you their home

No scripts, no umbrellas held high — just friendly people who grew up here and can't stop talking about it.
